Brad Garlinghouse, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Of Ripple, emphasized the recent performance of XRP and stated that the Cryptocurrency market should be viewed with a long-term vision rather than focusing on short-term trends.
On the 12th (local time), Garlinghouse appeared on Fox Business's ‘The Claman Countdown’ program and said, “XRP has recorded the most outstanding performance among major Cryptocurrencies over the past 90 days,” adding, “We focus on where the industry will be in 3 years rather than in the next 6 months.” This statement was reported by Coinpedia.
In response to a question about the recent volatility of Bitcoin, he said, “Cryptocurrency is essentially a long-term technological innovation and the evolution of financial infrastructure,” and added, “We should focus on improving technical and institutional structures rather than being swayed by price movements.”
Garlinghouse particularly mentioned Ripple's recent acquisition of the Prime Brokerage 'Hidden Road' valued at $1.25 billion, explaining that it is one of the largest acquisitions in the history of the Cryptocurrency industry. He claimed, “Just a year ago, this was impossible,” and, “At that time, the IRS and banking system deliberately suppressed the Cryptocurrency industry.”
However, he assessed that the regulatory environment has been changing since the inauguration of the Trump administration, and companies are now equipped with conditions for full market expansion. He emphasized, “Now is a meaningful time for acquisition, investment, and expansion,” expressing confidence in securing market leadership for XRP.
