Bitcoin, contrary to the global stock market downturn, showed a rebound and again surpassed $90,000. Unlike the weakness of U.S. technology stocks, investors' focus is on the unique movement of Bitcoin.

According to Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, Bitcoin was traded at $90,711 per coin as of 12 PM, showing a rise of 2.72% from the previous day, recovering the $90,000 mark for the first time in 46 days since the 6th of last month. At one point, it rose to the $91,500 level.

This rebound came amid the shaking U.S. stock market due to President Trump's high tariff policies, with interpretations emerging that Bitcoin is beginning to attract attention as a safe asset like gold as market uncertainty increases.

Previously, Bitcoin was pushed down to the $74,000 level on the 7th due to the impact of the Tariff war but quickly recovered to rise more than 20%. Even in the last two days alone, it has risen over 6%, diverging from the previous trend that moved in a similar direction to U.S. technology stocks.

Bloomberg analyzed that "following President Trump's announcement of a large-scale tariff imposition, while risk assets collectively fell, Bitcoin started to show movement similar to gold."

The weakness of the Dollar is also adding to the decoupling phenomenon. Recently, the U.S. Dollar has fallen to its lowest level in three years, with investors' funds being drawn to relatively stable valued assets. In fact, Bitcoin ETF saw an inflow of $381 million in a single day yesterday, marking the largest inflow since the end of January.

Augustine Pan, a partner at SignalPlus, predicted that "if Bitcoin continues a flow separated from U.S. assets, the narrative of being a store of value can gain strength again in the long term." Richard Galvin of Australia's cryptocurrency hedge fund DACM also stated "If the flow of being traded like gold continues instead of technology stocks, the decoupling of Bitcoin will become more firm."
