This week's global macro schedule: US and European economic indicators in focus

This week's major global macro events are as follows.

On April 30th (Tue), the first quarter European Gross domestic product (GDP) announcement is scheduled for 6 PM Korean time, followed by the release of the April US ADP Non-agricultural employment changes at 9:15 PM and the US first quarter GDP indicator at 9:30 PM. Following this, the US March Core Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE) Price Index announcement is also scheduled for 11 PM.

On May 1st (Wed), the stock markets in Korea and China will be closed for Labor Day. On the same day at noon, the Bank of Japan (BOJ) will announce its interest rate decision, and at 9:30 PM, the US Initial Jobless Claims will be released.

On May 2nd (Thu) at 9:30 PM, the US April Non-agricultural Employment Index and Unemployment Rate will be announced.
