British investment bank Barclays predicted that the U.S. economy would not fall into a recession in the second half of 2025. Previous forecasts mentioned a modest possibility of a recession, but this analysis evaluates that the economy will maintain stability.

Additionally, Barclays anticipated that the Federal Reserve (Fed) would implement a total of three rate cuts of 25bp each in March, June, and September of 2026. This is based on the judgment that the Fed's accommodative monetary policy will support economic growth.
