Jamieson Greer, the Head of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), stated that it would take time to remove non-tariff barriers with China. In an interview with CNBC, he said, "I am scheduled to have a meeting with the Indian Minister of Commerce on Tuesday, and plan to move to Korea thereafter."
Greer emphasized, "We are pushing to conclude the trade agreement as quickly as possible," but explained that removing non-tariff barriers requires complicated procedures and time. Through this tour, the United States plans to strengthen cooperation with major Asian trade partners and continue discussions to increase market accessibility.
