BTC Kimchi premium 2.0% recorded… Domestic exchange price rise

The BTC Kimchi Premium recorded 2.0%, with the price on domestic exchanges being higher than overseas. As of the 18th, BTC is trading at ₩146,569,000 on Upbit, while it is trading at ₩143,688,188 on Binance.

The USDT exchange rate is recorded as ₩1,424, and the price difference between the two exchanges is about ₩2,880,812. Experts believe that the strong Korean won and increased domestic demand have affected the premium.

The expansion of the Kimchi Premium may stimulate further influx of domestic investors, but conversely, there is also a need to be cautious about the possibility of selling pressure due to restrictions on overseas remittances and arbitrage trading.
