Ripple, Market attention on Circle acquisition rumor…“If true, possibility of a surge in XRP demand”

The cryptocurrency industry is in a stir as the possibility of Ripple acquiring Circle, the issuer of one of the largest stablecoins in the US, USDC, is raised. Ju Ki-young, CEO of the crypto data analysis company CryptoQuant, expressed his views on the related rumors through his X account.

He evaluated, “XRP has a refined flow that moves among capital market experts,” and added, “There are minor flaws, but there is sharpness in its movement.” Following, he added, “If Ripple acquires Circle, it could be a very strategic choice.”

In particular, he mentioned the increasing interest of investors in the stablecoin market recently and predicted, “The funds waiting for Circle's initial public offering (IPO) could be drawn to XRP.” However, he clarified, “This article is not an advertisement, and I do not hold XRP either.”

While both Ripple and Circle have not released official positions on the rumors, attention is paid to the potential change in XRP's position in the cryptocurrency market depending on the actual acquisition status.
