Global listed companies, Purchased 1.19 billion dollars' worth of Bitcoin in a week... Increased institutional demand
Global listed companies are accelerating their Bitcoin purchases again. According to Sosova Value, during last week (June 9-15), global listed companies excluding mining companies purchased a total of 1.19 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin.
The largest portion was taken by Strategy, purchasing about 1.05 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin alone, drawing market attention. Other than that, Japan-based Metaplanet additionally purchased 117 million dollars, and Remixpoint additionally purchased 22.7 million dollars.
As a result, the total number of Bitcoins held by currently listed companies is aggregated at 649,760, amounting to approximately 69.4 billion dollars at market value. There is an assessment that the movement to position Bitcoin as a 'strategic asset' is gradually expanding. The market analysis suggests that if such corporate demand continues, it could have a positive impact on price stability as well as an upward trend.
