AI-based education company Genius Group announced plans to significantly expand its Bitcoin strategy and purchase 10,000 BTC over the next 2 years. This is 10 times the previously stated goal of 1,000 BTC.

The company explained that the decision is part of a strategy to establish a long-term digital asset portfolio with Bitcoin as a core asset. Genius Group previously announced plans to purchase 1,000 BTC and currently holds 120 BTC (as of July 1).

In the market, attention is being paid to medium-sized listed companies embarking on large-scale Bitcoin accumulation strategies. Particularly, with companies like MicroStrategy or Reset Holdings placing cryptocurrencies at the center of their corporate strategies, Genius Group's announcement is also viewed as a potential harbinger of another 'BTC-listed company'.
