GameSquare, To raise additional 70 million dollars for Ethereum purchase

Nasdaq-listed media company Gamesquare (Ticker: GAME) is undertaking large-scale fundraising to acquire additional Ethereum (ETH).

The company announced on the 18th that it plans to raise a total of 70 million dollars by issuing 46,666,667 new common shares. The funds raised through this offering are intended to be used entirely for purchasing ETH, and Gamesquare reemphasized that it actively incorporates cryptocurrency into its portfolio as a long-term strategic asset.

Recently, interest in Ethereum among Nasdaq-listed companies has surged, and there are increasing cases of shifting from BTC-centered existing asset management to an ETH-centered strategy. Gamesquare is also participating in this trend, aiming to strengthen its position in the cryptocurrency market in the mid- to long-term.
