Putin, Declares Temporary Ceasefire With Ukraine On Easter...“Immediate Response To Provocations”

Russia declared a temporary ceasefire on the front with Ukraine during the Easter period. According to foreign media reports, this ceasefire will be implemented for two days from April 19 at 6 PM to midnight on the 21st (Korea time).

Russia declared the Easter ceasefire, stating, “We expect Ukraine to follow this example.” However, they added, “Our forces must be thoroughly prepared to respond immediately in case of provocations or attacks from the other side during the ceasefire.”

This is the first Easter ceasefire officially proposed by Russia, and the international community is noting whether this measure can temporarily ease tensions on the front line. Meanwhile, Ukraine has not yet issued an official position.
