Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Junior, partnered with conservative investor Omid Malick to create a super-rich club named 'Executive Branch.' According to Politico on the 26th (local time), the club is based in Georgetown, Washington D.C., with its first meeting held on Saturday afternoon.
The formation of 'Executive Branch' was led by Trump Junior, Malick, and investors from 1789 Capital. It also includes renowned figures from the cryptocurrency industry, such as the Winklevoss brothers. Malick and his company, 1789 Capital, maintain a unique policy of investing only in venture companies that value conservative principles.
This club operates under a strict invitation system and, with a membership fee of 500,000 dollars, targets primarily ultra-high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives. Politico quoted a source as saying, "The club is highly anticipated, with a waiting list already formed."
The launch event was co-hosted by Trump Junior, Malick, and venture investor and White House cryptocurrency policy advisor David Sachs. Key founding members include Sachs, the Winklevoss brothers, and investor Chamath Palihapitiya.
Ownership of the club lies jointly with Malick, his partner Chris Buskirk, Trump Junior, and Jack and Alex Witkoff, sons of Steve Witkoff, a former senior member of the Trump administration. The Witkoff brothers, along with Trump Junior, are also operating a DeFi project named World Liberty Financial (WLF).
Jack and Alex's father, Steve Witkoff, was appointed by Trump as a Middle East envoy and is participating in ceasefire negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Ukraine. Meanwhile, White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt is reported to attend this club event instead of the White House correspondents' dinner held the same day.
