On May 24, 2025, according to Fortune, an influencer who attended a cryptocurrency-related dinner hosted by President Donald Trump expressed strong dissatisfaction with the entire event. Nicholas Pinto, a 25-year-old influencer and Trump fan, said he purchased TRUMP tokens worth $360,000 to attend the dinner, but the result was “all disappointing.”
He criticized, saying, “It was complete garbage. It was a cheap steak like something sold at Walmart,” adding, “Everyone at our table said it was the worst meal they ever had in their lives.” He also pointed out that not only was the meal disappointing, but President Trump's speech also fell far short of expectations. “It was almost nonsense, and most attendees could not even get near Trump,” he said.
The dinner was planned as an event to bridge the gap between the cryptocurrency community and the political world, yet even the invited attendees did not seem satisfied. Given that attendees were granted admission only after purchasing TRUMP tokens, the dissatisfaction with the event itself might cause significant backlash among supporters with investment inclinations.
