Jamie Dimon Questioning The Efficacy Of Bitcoin (Source: Business Insider)

JP Morgan's CEO Jamie Dimon strongly opposed the strategy of holding Bitcoin at the national level. He argued that "America should not stockpile Bitcoin," and that instead, it should reserve tangible strategic assets such as guns, ammunition, drones, and rare earth elements.

These remarks came amid the recent spread of Bitcoin holding movements at the government and corporate levels in the United States. CEO Dimon emphasized in remarks at the Reagan National Economic Forum's inaugural meeting reported by Fox News, “If it's to prepare for national security and real crisis response, it's wise to secure physical assets, not digital assets.”

Dimon has consistently shown a critical stance towards Bitcoin, and this statement is interpreted as reflecting the view that cryptocurrencies lack effectiveness as national strategic assets.
