Metaplanet, 5.4 Billion Dollar Scale Capital Raising Initiated…“BTC 210,000 Coins Holding Target”

MetaPlanet, which is intensifying its accumulation of Bitcoin (BTC), is embarking on the largest fundraising in Asia. Simon Gerovich, MetaPlanet CEO, announced on the 6th through X, “We are pushing for a fundraising of 770.9 billion yen (about 5.4 billion dollars) to purchase BTC.”

According to Gerovich, this fundraising includes the issuance of 550 million new shares in a conditional manner where the exercise price varies depending on market conditions. He explained, “MetaPlanet was able to adopt such a large-scale fundraising method due to its high volatility and abundant liquidity.”

Based on this fundraising, MetaPlanet has set specific goals of holding 100,000 BTC by the end of 2026 and 210,000 BTC by the end of 2027. As MetaPlanet aggressively expands its BTC reserve strategy, it is being called 'Asia’s MicroStrategy' and is gaining market attention.
