Bloomberg “BTC, Entering maturity stage…Difficult to expect high returns as in the past”
As Bitcoin's volatility hits a historical low, there is an analysis suggesting that the high-profit era is coming to an end. Bloomberg Intelligence's Senior Macro Strategist Mike McGlone recently reported that "As of early June, Bitcoin's annual volatility compared to gold has reached an all-time low," diagnosing this as a signal that cryptocurrency is establishing itself as a more mature asset.
He added, "Now Bitcoin is not an asset that skyrockets like before but is transforming into a market that moves based on stability," and "Instead of expecting high yields, attention should be paid to flows similar to institutional assets."
This analysis coincides with the recent slowdown in Bitcoin's rally, reinforcing the call for a realignment of medium to long-term investment strategies.
