Amid heightened tensions following Israel's airstrikes, Iran drew a line on the possibility of diplomatic negotiation with the United States, making the direction of nuclear negotiations unclear. According to a report from Yonhap News citing Reuters, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said on the 13th (local time), "The United States talks about negotiations while also delegating roles to the Zionist regime (Israel) to attack Iranian territory," and stated, "In such a situation, talks with the United States are meaningless."

Baghaei further criticized strongly that "Israel's airstrikes would not have been possible without U.S. approval," implying that the United States is behind this military action.

This stance starkly contrasts with President Donald Trump's expressed intention to continue nuclear negotiations. The two countries were scheduled to hold a sixth unofficial nuclear negotiation in Oman on the 15th, but the prospect of resuming negotiations itself has become uncertain due to Iran's strong remarks.

This situation acts as an additional destabilizing factor in the Middle Eastern scenario and pours cold water on the market and international community's expectations for the possibility of a diplomatic solution.
