Global listed companies, Bitcoin worth 82 trillion won held…occupying 3.65% of supply
The size of Bitcoin held by major listed companies globally has increased dramatically, reaching a level of 3.65% of the total circulation. Bitcoin Magazine Pro reported through its official X account, "Global listed companies hold a total of 768,568 BTC, equivalent to about 82.83 billion dollars (approximately 113 trillion won)."
The total issuance limit of Bitcoin is restricted to 21 million, meaning that companies hold about 3.65% of it. This figure shows that the demand for Bitcoin by companies has surged in recent years.
In particular, MicroStrategy, Tesla, Metaplanet, etc., have emerged as representative corporate holders by continuing large-scale BTC purchases. As institutional accumulation expands, market liquidity decreases, and price increase pressure may intensify, according to analysis.
As the movement to incorporate Bitcoin as a strategic asset of companies becomes more common, attention is drawn to how future regulatory changes or the re-establishment of accounting standards will affect market trends.
