President Donald Trump of the United States positively evaluated the ceasefire situation between Iran and Israel, stating “it is going well.” According to Walter Bloomberg on the 25th (local time), President Trump dismissed the possibility of Iran developing nuclear weapons and reaffirmed a strong stance.
He stated, “Iran does not want to enrich anything, and the United States will somewhat establish relations with Iran,” while emphasizing that “the United States will never allow Iran's military uranium enrichment, and Iran will not possess nuclear weapons.”
Furthermore, President Trump warned, “If Iran rebuilds nuclear facilities, we will strike again,” clearly stating a preemptive response policy against the resumption of nuclear development.
This statement came amid the maintenance of the ceasefire between the two countries, highlighting that while President Trump supports the easing of tensions in the Middle East, he is firmly committed to curbing Iran's nuclear development.
