Ric Edelman, Chairman of the Digital Assets Council and a famous investor, argued that the proportion of cryptocurrencies in investment portfolios needs to be significantly increased. In an interview with CNBC on the 28th (local time), he stated, "Financial advisors should advise clients to allocate 40% of their portfolio to cryptocurrencies."

Edelman said, "Just 4 years ago, I recommended cryptocurrencies at 1% or single-digit proportions, but now the situation has completely changed," adding "At the time, it was uncertain whether governments would ban Bitcoin, whether blockchain technology would be useless, or whether institutions would participate. But now all those doubts have disappeared."

He evaluated that cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, have firmly established themselves not as experimental assets on the fringes but as 'mainstream assets' accepted by the system and businesses. He particularly emphasized that ETF approval, expansion of institutional investment, and government acceptance movements are changing the market structure itself.

Edelman's remarks are being seen as an example of the rapidly changing perception of cryptocurrencies within the traditional financial sector. The market is paying attention to whether the rising status of cryptocurrencies, gradually being included as 'core assets' from high-risk, high-reward assets, will bring about a major shift in future asset management strategies.
